My Grandma Ann's Fudge
be sure to grease a pie plate with butter before you start, set aside
2 c. sugar
3/4 c. milk or canned milk
1/2 c. pd. cocoa
mix all together in pan
cook on med.
to test if its done take a bit out and drop in water , rub it with your finger and if it rolls into a ball its done! or use a thermomiter cook till 234 degrees.
when done take off heat and add:
2 T. butter or marg.
and 1 t. vanilla
about 1 c. small marshmellows or marshmellow cream(optional)
1/2 c. nuts(optional)
mix till its dull looking or getting thicker
pour into pie plate. can put in frig or leave on counter to cool.
