My bbq sauce!
Makes 3 1/2 cups
2 c. ketchup
1 c. water
1/2 c. apple cider vinegar
7 T. light brown sugar
3 T. sugar
2 t. fresh ground black pepper
2 t. onion powder
2t. ground mustard
1 T. lemon juice
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
2 t. liquid smoke(opt.)
In a pot, combine all ingredients. Bring mixture to a boil, reduce heat to simmer. Cook uncovered, stirring frequently, for about 45 min. Store in a mason jar with lid in frig. I always double recipe.
